 Sempre Verde Ecolodge consists of two cottages, offering different styles of accommodation to suit all demands, and an isolated Forest cottage for independent groups.
The Big Cottage (Casa Grande)
It has 2 bedrooms, which can be used as double bedrooms, or as dormitories (as requested), with a total capacity of 9 beds. Full board is provided in the Big Cottage, as well as guided activities.
Bedclothes, towels and mosquito nets are provided free of charge in the Big Cottage. There is no need to cool the rooms artificially, as the nights are usually naturally cool enough to ensure our guests a good night's sleep. In the extraordinary case of a warmer night, there is a fan available in the Lodge. There are hammocks, canvas recliner chairs and banana leaf mats to use on the terrace.
The Small Cottage (Casa Pequena/Chalé)
If you prefer, you can rent the little cottage (Casa Pequena) with a capacity of 4-6 beds. This basic cottage has two small bedrooms with two beds in each, a fully-equipped kitchen and one big bathroom, adapted for the disabled. There is also a small living room with a sofa and an extra bed, adding two more beds.
Forest Retreat in the Green Valley
In the Green Valley, 1 km from Sempre Verde Ecolodge, we offer a beautiful accommodation in the forest, for those who want more tranquility and less insight – a real retreat. There is no access for cars, but a nice track of 300 m that leads to the small-holding, from where you can park your car. Here you cook your own food, bring drinking water from the spring (you have also tap water in the house), use solar energy and windmills, live near animals, as hens, cats, dogs, goats, wild birds and small monkeys. You have two friendly neighbours on 300 meters distance each. Close to the smallholding you can bathe in a small natural pool with freshwater, or in the small waterfall at 600 m of distance.
The house has 7 beds, 3 bedrooms, several options for sleeping in hammocks, two bathrooms, one kitchen, one living-room, and one terrace surrounded by trees. There is also an Activity-house 30 m behind the house, with 4x8 meters open space, perfect for dancing, meditation and meetings.
The valley is always green and beautiful, where you can have a nice walk in the neighbourhood.
Camping
There is a restricted area for camping in a small open space between the forest and the Lodge.
Minimizing environment impact
We really care about the environment, so we try to use as much as possible renewable energies such as solar panels and windmills, and rainwater collection are also used at Sempre Verde. In addition, we have set up a waste management plan so that most of our household garbage can be reused or recycled. We use bio-friendly cleaning products wherever and whenever possible. We want to minimize the environmental impact of our business and daily lives.
Food and drinking
All our own products are ecologically grown vegetables and bananas from our own plantations are served daily as well as free-range eggs and, during some periods, fresh goat’s milk. You may also be lucky enough to enjoy some of our home produced coffee! We are vegetarians and our cuisine is very tasty and healthy. However, if you would like to eat meat, please feel free to request it for lunch.
Pure drinking water, as well as all other household water, comes from our own spring, so there is no need to buy mineral water (which would only add to plastic bottle-garbage).
Smoking
Out of respect for other guests (present or future), including children and those with allergies, we do not smoke in or near the cottages.
Rates
Big Cottage (Casa Grande): includes full board, guided activities for a half or whole day, bedclothes, towels and mosquito nets.
Little Cottage (Casa Pequena): includesbedclothes and mosquito nets, but not towels. It is not included meals or guided activities.
Guided activities may be requested at an extra charge (see Link Activities).
Green Valley (Vale Verde): includes bedclothes. Mosquito nets are not necessary.
Hammocks can be hired. It does not include towels, meals or activities.

Children
Each child (6 - 11 years old), accompanied by 2 adults, enjoys a 50% discount if staying in the same room as its guardians.
Each child below 6 years of age, accompanied by 2 adults, is free of charge, if staying in the same room as its guardians.
Seasons
Low seasons: April, May, June, August, September, October. Excluding weekends.
High season: January, February, March, July, November, December, and weekends during the whole year.
During holidays such as Christmas, New Year, Carnival and Easter prices may be higher.
Enquiries
For a guaranteed booking we require a down-payment of 50%, advising us of the following information: number and names of travellers, room type (single, double or otherwise), number of rooms, and whether vegetarians or not.
For our riding guests we also need to know: weight and riding-experience.
Guests booking from outside Brazil must ensure that down-payment reaches the Brazilian bank account at least 1 week before your arrival date. The other 50%, is payable at the Lodge in cash. Unfortunately, we are unable to process Visa or Mastercard.
